Synopsis / Description: The major International Conference of the Federation is now titled the World Congress. Meetings of the Federation are combined with those of the Organization for medical Physics (IOMP) and co-ordinated by the Conference Co-ordinating Committee of the International Union for Physics and Engineering Sciences in Medicine (IUPESM).
During the World Congress 2012, the participants will share the latest information on global health challenges, advanced technologies and innovative applications. It will be a window to show participants the up-to-date picture of research, education development, and industrial contribution in the field of medical physics and biomedical engineering. Beijing has hundreds year history as the capital of China and is the key city with academic and economic functions.
A special session on Undergraduate BME Projects on the Development/Deployment of Low-cost, Sustainable Medical Devices for use in Resource-poor Nations is taking abstracts for consideration. Please contact to hfv@bu.edu for more information.
