WASHINGTON, D.C.—The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of Merryn Tawhai, Ph.D., Professor, Auckland Bioengineering Institute, University of Auckland, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Tawhai was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for outstanding contributions to the development and use of computational models for the diagnosis and prognostic assessment of lung disease.
