WASHINGTON, D.C.—The American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering (AIMBE) has announced the induction of Cherie L. Stabler, Ph.D., Associate Professor, J. Crayton Pruitt Family Department of Biomedical Engineering, University of Florida, to its College of Fellows. Dr. Stabler was nominated, reviewed, and elected by peers and members of the College of Fellows for outstanding contributions in the design of translational bioactive materials for cellular transplantation, focusing on treatment of Type 1 diabetes.
