Jennifer Wayne named head of Department of Biomedical Engineering and Mechanics

Jennifer Wayne has been appointed head of Virginia Tech’s Department of Biomedical Engineering and Mechanics in the College of Engineering, effective Aug. 10, 2019.

Wayne comes to Virginia Tech from Virginia Commonwealth University, where she has been a faculty member in the departments of Biomedical Engineering and Orthopaedic Surgery since 1991.
